The comstar DUAL infrared microwave
motion detector is used to monitor
indoor areas with critical environmental
conditions. It detects infrared heat
rays such as those emitted by the human
body via its optical mirrors. The
additional built-in detector detects
motion according the the Doppler
principle. The microcontroller links
both systems, which work according to
completely different physical
properties. The microprocessor
controlled signal processing offers
excellent protection against false
alarms and outstanding detection
properties. Alarm criteria can be
distinguished very effectively from
interference signals. At the same time,
the energy consumption is reduced to a
minimum. The lower housing is compatibly
with PIR motion detector family comstar
B/C.
