Compatibility
FileMaker Pro 10 and FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced use the same database format (. Fp7) as FileMaker Pro 9 and FileMaker Pro 9 Advanced and FileMaker Pro 8.x / FileMaker Pro 8 Advanced. Therefore, they can easily share databases between these applications. FileMaker Pro 7 and FileMaker Developer 7 are no longer supported - even if use of these two products the same FileMaker database format. The reason is that both FileMaker Pro 7 and have achieved FileMaker Developer 7, the end of their service life.
Features of the newer versions of FileMaker are supported only by them; for example, script triggers and the e-mail sending function via SMTP features of FileMaker Pro 10 and FileMaker Pro 10 Advanced and are only supported by them.

On both platforms, earlier versions of Internet Explorer and Safari are blocked. Other Mozilla family browsers are not blocked but not supported by FileMaker. Users of these browsers are encouraged to upgrade to the latest browser version. JavaScript must be enabled in your web browser.
