- proof verification. Set up your proofer to meet ISO 12647-2 or any target CMYK profile. Test the proofers accuracy with proofSIGN. Know that your proofs will match the press sheets. Confirm with your clients exactly how the final print run will appear, provide your minders with colour accurate proofs
- Spot colour verification. Check spot colours on both the proof and press sheet. Compare the printed colour with any Lab value from Pantone guide or any other source. Type in a Lab value and and measure the difference (Delta E) from the actual printed sample. Compare two readings. Before you go to press check the ink drawn downs from your ink supplier.
Compare density readings, Dot Area values and Delta E so that you can measure colour anywhere on your proofs and presssheets.
- press colour verification. Add the pressSIGN control strip to one of your jobs. Read the control strip straight from the press and adjust the density settings to those recommended by pressSIGN. Read the control strip when dry and update the dry-back readings. Now adjust the plate curve as recommended by pressSIGN. The next run of the press will be colour accurate.
- colour verification reports. pressSIGN suite enables you to produce a label for both press sheets and proofs. Generate a detailed pdf report on the colour status of your proofer and press. Give your clients a report on the job. Save a record for your files showing the colour accuracy of the job.
- ambient light verification. Confirm that your controlled lighting is calibrated and set to D50
