TeleFlash Compact, non-contact spectrophotometer
TeleFlash Compact measures color and evaluates color deviation through a unique spectrophotometer designed to accommodate virtually any sample, from the most textured and finely patterned to the glossy and wet. Although compact in size, TeleFlash Compact provides a large measurement area suited for a variety of surfaces, including extruded vinyl, bulk goods, coil coatings, synthetic films, paints (wet and dry), textiles, carpeting, granules, food pigments, paper, powders, glass, ceramics, metal, minerals and plaster.
• The latest evolution of non-contact spectrophotometers
• A myriad of uses, from highly structured materials and granules to paints and powders
• Large measuring area with minimal sensitivity to sample distance variations
• Ideal complement for the laboratory or production area
Applications Abound
Meet TeleFlash Compact, the gateway to non-contact, non-destructive color measurement in the laboratory or production area. Have a special application? Just equip TeleFlash Compact with a tripod, working table or movable measuring table. The system even assimilates into environments that are very dusty or require explosion-proof protection.
Precise. Innovative. Flexible.
On target and in time, TeleFlash Compact elevates both color measurement and quality assurance. TeleFlash Compact measures color from a distance of up to five feet, tolerating small variations in the measuring distance from system to sample. Color quality is a sure thing with visual graphics and acoustic warnings that indicate when color tolerances are exceeded. TeleFlash Compact may be accompanied by software that performs quality assurance, color formulation and color correction. Additional options include a non-contact pyrometer that measures sample surface temperature. Combine the pyrometer with a heating and cooling element for thermochromism compensation that delivers accuracy without the wait.
Standard Configuration
• TeleFlash Compact spectrophotometer
• Certified calibration standards
• Personal computer with Windows® operating system (optional)
• Software for quality control and color formulation (optional)
• Available formulas for calculation of differences in color: CIELab,
HunterLab, CMC (l:c), CIE 94 (1:1:1), XYZ, Yxy, CIEUCS, CIELUV, whiteness
indices (ASTM E313-73, Stensby, CIE), yellowness indices (ASTM
D1925-70), index of metamerism, density (visual, filter: 29, 30, 33, 47,
47B, 50, 61, 70, 72B)
• Available illuminants for 2° and 10° observation: D65, D75,
D55, D35, A, TL84, F2, F7, P, C, HOR, EGS, B, G, Xe, ADN
Additional Products
• Online color measurement systems for production
• Non-touch gloss measurement in production
• Software packages for color quality control and color formulation
